Biography
Phillip Menditto attended Liberty University for his undergraduate work and received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Upon completion of his Bachelor, he enrolled in law school at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia excelling in Moot Court and Trial Advocacy.
Following law school, Mr. Menditto completed the Florida Bar, scoring extremely high. Mr. Menditto was then hired by the Broward County State Attorney's Office as a Prosecuting Attorney.
While at the State Attorney's Office, Mr. Menditto prosecuted thousands of cases specializing in DUI, Battery, Assault, Grand Theft Auto, Drug Charges, and violations of Probation. As a prosecuting attorney, he tried countless trials in several courtrooms before many sitting County and Circuit Court Judges.
Upon leaving the State Attorney's Office, Mr. Menditto used the tools, insight, and connections he gathered through being a Prosecutor toward protecting and defending individual's rights and freedoms as a Criminal Defense Attorney.
Since practicing Criminal Defense, Mr. Menditto has successfully defended numerous cases stemming again from DUI/Traffic Tickets, Drug Charges, Domestic Violence, Grand Theft Auto, Murder, White Collar Crimes, and RICO/Racketeering Charges along with writing and successfully arguing many appeals involving the aforementioned crimes. Mr. Menditto is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court - Southern District of Florida and has defended several multiple charge counts in Federal Court.
Mr. Menditto was born and raised in South Florida and has utilized the many resources he has acquired to help individuals at their most dire and important times of their lives.
There are many attorneys with many gifts that can be used in Court. These gifts can include charisma, presence, or power. All are important but none of which is the most crucial. The ability to listen is paramount in winning or losing a case.
Many people can be inspired or even moved by an attorney who is so eloquent that a jury will hang on their every word, but this does not solely lead to a "Not Guilty" verdict.
